It’s all in your head. Everything you need to imagine, to ponder, to remember, to invent. The Virginia Tech Carilion Research Institute will be celebrating that notable three-pound lump of tissue – the human brain – with its fifth annual Brain School, a highlight of the institute’s commemoration of Brain Awareness Week. This year's program will focus on brain development, from the formation of the smallest cells to how experience and education can continue shaping the brain.
The school will run four evenings: March 13, 14, 15, and 16. Each talk will begin at 5:30 p.m. and last approximately an hour. A reception will precede the event at 5 p.m.
Free parking is available in the nearby lot and parking garage.
