Welcome to Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine’s Office of Financial Aid! The Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine is strongly committed to its financial aid program and the principle that a student's financial resources should not be a barrier to enrollment. The school offers a competitive financial aid package including private scholarship and loans. Students have access to Title IV federal loans (Stafford and Graduate PLUS) through the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), as well as other private/alternative student loan programs. Students are normally eligible to borrow up to the full cost of attendance if needed.
The Office of Financial Aid provides assistance to prospective and matriculated medical students and alumni with the financial aid application process, individual budgeting, loan repayment options, and debt management.
