The assistant dean for admissions is responsible for the Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine admissions program, including student recruitment, applicant processing, MMI interviews, and the administration of the admissions committee. The assistant dean has direct responsibility for programs and pipelines aimed at achieving student diversity goals. The assistant dean reports to the senior dean for student affairs.
