On Saturday, May 11, the Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine held its commencement ceremony for the Class of 2019. Thirty-seven members of the class earned their medical degree and will soon head across the country for residencies in a variety of specialties.

The class is the college's sixth to graduate, but this is the first class to earn their degree from Virginia Tech, following integration of the college into the university last summer.
