Michael F. Nolan, PhD, PT
The assistant dean for basic science education is charged with oversight of the content, organization, delivery, and assessment of the basic science domain across the four years of the curriculum. Responsibilities include the ongoing review of instructional content and student assessments to ensure concordance with the mission and objectives of the school, assistance in the identification, assignment and support of participating faculty, and the maintenance of effective communication between basic science domain faculty and various administrative units within the medical school. The assistant dean reports to the senior dean for academic affairs.
