Tools of the trade: Students, staff, and faculty put down their medical tools and picked up a slightly different set for the afternoon.

The Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine softball game pitted faculty and staff against students on May 4, 2013. Although the youth and athleticism of the students eventually overcame the age and experience of the faculty and staff, the event was decided by a mere two runs.
