Story: Diana Zychowski is the second VTCSOM student to receive the Caroline Osborne Memorial Scholarship

Published: Feb. 14, 2018: Diana Zychowski was the first in her family to attend college; the Chicago native studied math and molecular and cellular biology at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. While there, she earned a Howard Hughes funded undergraduate research fellowship. After graduating in 2008, Zychowski kept on that research path, eventually earning her master’s degree in public health from the University of Illinois at Chicago.

Story: First Caroline Osborne Memorial Scholarship awarded

Published: Nov. 1, 2016: Amie Calimlim is the first recipient of the Caroline Osborne Memorial Scholarship. Calimlim is the first member of her family to go to college. She was born in England and moved to the United States when she was 19. She joined the U.S. Air Force, serving as an EMT, where she developed an interest in studying medicine. She is the proud mother of twin 6-year-old boys.
