The Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine Health Sciences Library is a branch of the University Libraries at Virginia Tech. As a college of Virginia Tech, students have access to the large, diverse collection of electronic and print resources of University Libraries. 

School of Medicine students learn to search the literature, critically assess the evidence, and retrieve content. They have 24/7 physical and remote access to the School of Medicine library and the Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital Health Sciences library.

The Virginia Tech Carilion Libraries Consortium provides access to clinical databases including: 

  • AccessMedicine
  • AccessEmergency Medicine
  • DynaMed

As a college of Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, students have access to the large, diverse collection of electronic and print resources of University Libraries at Virginia Tech. 

School of Medicine students may request journal articles, book chapters, print books, conference proceedings, theses & dissertations, Standards, SAE papers, NTIS technical reports and more by using University Libraries' Interlibrary Loan delivery service. They also have 24/7 physical and remote access to the School of Medicine library and the Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital Health Sciences library.
