Awards
Each year the Virginia State Science and Engineering Fair offers four awards by category. Additionally, student exhibits may receive one of several 'special category' awards.
First place category winners are eligible to participate in the Grand Prize competition. Places are awarded as follows: The Governor's Award and Grand Prize, Second Grand Prize and Third Grand Prize. Winners will be announced on Monday, April 12.
Category Awards
There are awards for first place, second place, third place and honorable mention for each of the following categories, provided there are sufficient entries:
