Clarity

Parsa Khaksar

I will never find clarity

So don't try to tell me

I have the power to see beyond my doubts

Because in the end

My perspective is clouded by fear

And I refuse to believe

That my vision can become clear

So I now understand

That hope is just an illusion

And nothing can convince me

That I can find focus again

Because I’ve come to realize

The world is filled with darkness

And I won’t believe that

Light can still break through

So I remind myself,

Clarity has left me forever

And I deny the possibility that

Hope remains, even among shadows

Because no matter what

I am too lost to see the truth

And I’m unable to accept

That clarity has always been within me

Because when I close my eyes, I always wonder

Is my vision truly blurred?
