Wellness Calendar of Events

The Health Sciences & Technology (HS&T) Campus offers a wide variety of events and workships for students, faculty, and staff to enjoy and partake in. Events are offered by multiple wellness partners including the HS&T Wellness Team, the VTC Wellness Advocacy Committee, the Roanoke Graduate Student Association (RGSA), and VT Hokie Wellness.

The wellness events and programs are designed to support your well-being across four main areas. Those interested in the wellness events or workshops should refer to the Extracurricular Calendar for finalized dates and details. Below is a quick guide to what you can expect.

Mind & Mental Health

Workshops and trainings focused on stress management, sleep, anxiety, peer support, mindfulness, and suicide prevention.

Financial Well‑Being

Sessions covering budgeting, credit and debt management, financial planning, and drop-in hours with financial wellness professionals.

Physical Wellness & Lifestyle

Events promoting physical health such as fitness challenges, hikes, flu clinics, self-defense classes, and nutrition seminars.

Social & Community

Opportunities to connect and unwind through festivals, creative nights, trivia, wellness fairs, volunteering, and other social gatherings.
