Speaker: Ellington Graves

Ellington Graves is the Assistant Provost for Inclusion and Diversity and the Director of the Africana Studies Program in the Department of Sociology. He has been a faculty member at Virginia Tech for 19 years, teaching courses ranging from Sociological Theory and Social Inequity to African American Identity and Leadership for Change. He received his B.A. in Sociology from Johns Hopkins University, his M.S. in Sociology from Virginia Tech, and his Ph.D. in Sociology from UNC-Chapel Hill.
