The Future Faculty Diversity program is a bridging opportunity program the Virginia Tech campus administration supports, through the Office of Diversity and Inclusion, as an effort to accelerate its faculty diversity efforts across multiple dimensions. One of the selected candidates from this program is Dr. Ucheoma Nwaozuru, a Post-Doctoral Fellow in Global Health and Implementation Science at the Saint Louis University. Dr. Nwaozuru’s research interests are largely in global health equity, implementation science, social innovations in public health, and participatory research approach to improve access to disease prevention, treatment, and care in low-resource setting.
Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine will host Dr. Nwaozuru for a virtual visit to VTCSOM, and the department of Public Health at the Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine on Tuesday, October 6. The following engagement opportunities have been scheduled for the benefit of all our medical community. Registration to the session(s) of your interest is strongly encouraged.

- 1:30pm – 2:15pm: Meeting with VTCSOM and TBMH Students
