Vianne began making websites in New Zealand 18 years ago as president for the Paint Shop Pro Users Group while she was studying for her bachelor degree in business. She led a team of 60 volunteers world-wide who created content for a 5,000-page website, serving 25,000 members.
She continued doing web design on a freelance basis, even after coming to the United States and taking on the role of Marketing Director for a 30-campus college where she led the traditional and online marketing efforts and spearheaded social media implementation for the organization.
Her experience at Virginia Tech began 3 years ago as Web Producer for Students Affairs, where she was part of the pioneering group migrating the 24 division websites from Rhythmx Percussion Ensemble to Adobe Experience Manager Ensemble (AEME).
Vianne joined the VTCSOM team in September 2017 and is responsible for managing the website migration project from Django to Virginia Tech's Adobe Experience Manager, which will take place during spring and early summer of 2018.
