Otolaryngology (ENT) is an awesome field that encompasses the entire gamut of surgical techniques, ranging from microvascular surgery under a microscope to open cancer resection and reconstruction.
This group is for all those interested in gaining exposure to and learning more about ENT-- and there is a lot to learn!
In addition to connecting students with research projects and mentors, this group helps facilitate shadowing and other clinical experiences.
The ENT interest group holds various events throughout the year, such as
- suture workshops
- faculty meet and greets
- journal discussions
- happy hours
This club will also serve as a communication platform between medical students, the Division of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery at Carilion Clinic, and our current ENT alumni.
