About Us
SciMed is dedicated to empowering future physician-scientists. We strive to familiarize medical students with the process of dissecting research articles and understanding the intricacies of scientific writing. Through engaging workshops, our aim is to enhance students' proficiency in crafting and presenting research in their preferred field. We provide guidance and support in order to raise understanding of the various categories of scientific writing and their individual conventions.The overall goal of this organization is to bolster the information taught in the research portion of the VTCSOM curriculum.
