VTC Chapter Students for a National Health Program

We represent VTC’s branch of the Students for a National Health Program. Our national alliance aims to empower medical students to become positive forces of change at both the local and federal level, ultimately with the goal of advancing more equitable healthcare policies. We aim to educate our peers on opportunities for improvement in American healthcare, with a particular focus on deficits that impact historically marginalized communities. Through these actions, we hope to encourage future physicians to remain civically engaged and community-minded. Our organization has focused on engaging with other chapters, connecting with physician mentors, and advocating for policy improvement at the state-level.
