About Us

The VTCSOM Family Medicine Interest Group (FMIG) is committed to cultivating a passion for comprehensive, patient-centered care among future healthcare providers. We aim to equip medical students with the knowledge, mentorship, and skills necessary to excel in family medicine while introducing students to innovative subspecialties. We hope to empower students to become agents of change within their communities through fostering student leadership and community involvement. Through educational events, outreach, and collaborative learning, we strive to promote continuity of care, preventative health, and holistic well-being for individuals and communities alike.
